School parties and educational groups are always welcome at Ayers House Museum. The National Trust is committed to supporting education and views providing educational tours as a truly important part of the museum's activities.

Ayers House Museum offers teachers an invaluable educational tool and students of all ages, whether Primary & Secondary or Tertiary / ESL, an exciting and interactive learning opportunity. We are able to provide teaching resources and dedicated education guiding staff (many from a teaching background) who will work with you to maximise your students' learning opportunities during an education group visit.

As an historic house museum, Ayers House reflects domestic and social life as it was lived during the Victorian period. At its most general the museum offers an important introduction to South Australian history and an insight into 19th century and colonial life for both the upper and lower classes. However, educational visits to Ayers House can be adapted to suit a wide variety of topics and study areas. So whatever the focus, whether Women's History, Changing Technology or Cultural Tourism, Ayers House Museum has tours which can be tailored to meet your students' needs.
Stimulate your students' imaginations visiting inspiring and exciting places with a fun day out at Ayers House Museum.
