SALA – The Tanunda RSL Sub Branch

A State wide RSL Oral History Program and Photographic Exhibition. Stories and life experiences captured and documented by war veterans and war widows including pre WW2, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Malay, Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. Interviews capture the personal viewpoint of life experiences, cultural challenges and interaction, historical military world events.

The exhibition features images submitted by participants relevant to their documented stories which will also be available online as podcasts to be published late August 2021. Audio stations will also be available to stream the podcasts. This program has been created in partnership with The Tanunda RSL Sub Branch and Christian Teusner from The EMU Tree and has been funded via the Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program 2020-21, DVA.

The exhibition will also visit Mt Gambier, Tanunda, Waikerie and Port Pirie later in the year.
