Wedding Ceremonies & Packages
The beautifully decorative State Dining Room is an elegant venue for your wedding ceremony while selected areas both inside and outside the historic house provide you with ideal locations for formal photography. The State Dining Room has a capacity for up to 100 guests both seated and standing.
Facilities included in our Wedding Package are a red carpeted aisle, seating for 30 guests with cream damask seat covers (additional guests up to a maximum of 70 can be accommodated standing behind) and signing table for your marriage certificate. The Wedding Package also incorporates time for wedding photography in front of the various stunning backdrops that Ayers House affords.
Facilities & Additional Options
Ayers House Museum also offers the option of providing an open fire in the black Belgian slate fireplace in the State Dining Room. You may also like to arrange for a musician, instrumental group or vocalist to provide music for your ceremony. Alternatively a CD player is available or the State Dining Room grand piano may also be used by special arrangement. We are happy to arrange for the setting up of any additional seating for musicians or placement of additional floral arrangements.
Wedding Photography
Whether you are holding your wedding ceremony at Ayers House or not, Ayers House Museum offers a stunning setting against which your treasured wedding day photographs can be taken. Inclement weather need no longer be a concern with the sumptuous interior of historic Ayers House as your backdrop for wedding photography. Your photographer will have no difficulty in creating beautiful images with a variety of locations offered, including the State Dining Room, underneath the magnificent, 3000 piece chandelier and on the grand cedar staircase.
